2/20 - 비행기 환불 시 수수료 문의 (1차)

코로나 사태가 커지면서 여행을 못갈 수도 있겠다는 생각이 들어, 혹시 몰라서 환불 시 수수료 문의.
Tripair에 수수료 문의한 결과 

According to the fare rules the ticket is non - refundable (fare and fuel surcharge non eligible for refund).
The refundable airport taxes are less than the tripair service fee. So unfortunately you are entitled to no refund.

라는 답변을 받음. 결론은 한 푼도 받을 수 없다는 얘기.

2/25 - 환불불가 숙소 무료 취소 문의(로마/피렌체)

 

로마 / 피렌체 숙소에 각각 취소 문의
- 로마는 Agoda호텔/숙소에 각각 메일 보냈는데, 모두 아고다 통해서 메일이 왔다갔다 함.
- 피렌체는 숙소 예약 시 연락처가 뜸. 그 주소로 메일 보냄.

 

2/25 - 환불불가 숙소 무료 취소 확정(Florence art apartment)

피렌체 숙소에서는 메일을 보낸지 4시간만에 흔쾌히 무료로 취소 해주겠다는 답변이 왔다.

We are sorry that you won’t probably make your trip due to global health situation but each of us has to take measures to keep ourselves safe. We hope that the situation will be resolved as soon as possible so all the people will be able to travel without any problems.

2/27 - 환불불가 숙소 무료 취소 불가 답변 from 인디펜던트 호텔

 

로마 숙소(Hotel Independent) 에서는 

Regarding corona virus outbreak we would like to inform you that:
Rome is currently not in a region where coronavirus cases have occurred, the cases verified are in northern Italy. All precautionary measures have been taken in agreement with the regional health departments. We look forward to seeing you and for any eventuality we invite you to contact us.

Cancellation is not allowed for not refundable rates. this reservation will be for April and actually we are not able to consider free cancellation at the moment.

상황이 변하지 않으면 환불이 불가하다는 원칙적인 답변을 받았다.

3/2 - 환불불가 숙소 무료 취소 재문의(2)

이탈리아 북부쪽만 코로나가 확산되고 있고, 로마쪽은 괜찮다는 아고다측의 답변이 있었다.(아마도 호텔측의 답변이지않을까) 우리나라도 확진자가 4천명을 넘어서고 이탈리아에서도 약 1500명을 넘어서고 있다는 뉴스가 나와서 아고다측에 다시 메일을 보내 문의했다. 이러한 상황을 잘 설명을 했고, 알이탈리아 노선 자체도 운항을 중단했다는 내용을 포함시켜 보냈더니 아래와 같이 회신이 왔다. 3/31이후 예약건에 대해서는 아직 취소 정책이 없다. 즉, 3월 31일 전의 예약까지는 취소를 해준다는 얘기이다. 물론 상황이 괜찮아지기를 바래야겠지만 사태가 더욱 심각해지지 않는 이상 무료취소는 힘들 수도 있을 것 같다는 생각이 들었다.

As for the reservation in Rome (4/29~5/2), It seems very difficult to travel to Rome in world-wide Coronavirus outbreak. More than four thousands of confirmed people in South korea and more than one thousand of confirmed in Italy. Alitalia also decided that no longer operate the flight from South Korea to Rome.

You might be very busy due to Coronavirus but it would be very much appreciate it if you ask for a refund to Independent Hotel again.

3/2 -  비행기 환불 시 수수료 문의 (1차)

알이탈리아 항공의 로마-인천 노선이 단항되었기 때문에 Tripair에도 메일을 보내놨다. 이 단항에 대해 다른 계획이 있는지 물어보고, 만약 환불해줄거라면 가능하면 빨리 해달라는 메일을 보냈다. 인터넷 검색 결과, Tripair에서 환불 시 환불수수료 약 4~8만원을 제외한 금액을 환불받을 수 있어보인다.

비행기 단항으로 인해 Tripair에서 모든 금액을 환불해준다는 답변을 받았다.

4/20 - 아고다에서 로마 인디펜던트 숙소 무료취소 지원

숙박일이 다가와서 코로나와 비행기결항 건으로 다시 한 번 숙소 및 아고다에 연락을 취했다.
아고다 고객센터에서는 친절하게 응대해주었고 숙소에 무료취소를 요청하기 위한 자료 및 향후 계획들에 대해 상세히 알려주었다.
요청한 이후로 하루도 안걸려서 취소 확정 메일이 왔다. 입금은 꽤 걸리겠지만.. 그래도 이제 마음은 편하다

 

 

06/03 - 아고다에서 수차례 지원 끝에 환불금 입금 완료.

아고다에서 인디펜던트 호텔로부터 카드취소 내역을 확인 한 후 내 결제카드 사에 취소 내용을 전달했다. 그 과정까지 영문카드결제내역서 등이 필요해서 고객센터에 전화도 하고 많은 고생을 했지만, 결국에는 돈을 다 받아냈다.
처리과정에서 아고다 고객센터분들이 보여줬던 노력때문에라도 앞으로도 아고다를 계속 이용하고 싶다.

이제는 Tripair 입금만 남았다. 환불 해준다고 분명 얘기를 들었는데, 두 달이 지나도록 깜깜무소식이다. 또한 주변에서 바우처나 포인트로 준다는 얘기를 하는데... 괜히 불안해진다
